Honorable No News staff, and beloved citizens of Yeongcheon.    I sincerely congratulate you on this meaningful launch.  Today’s launch is even more meaningful, as it goes beyond the launch of a new newspaper, creating a public forum that captures the voices of the residents and lives in harmony with them.  The press is both a mirror reflecting the times and a light that illuminates society. When we fulfill our role in highlighting local issues with fair reporting based on facts and a balanced perspective, proposing the right solutions, and uniting the community, our society can develop more healthily.  In particular, we are confident that NoNews is a companion that shares the joys and sorrows of residents up close in their daily lives. We will grow into a newspaper that listens attentively even to the small stories of everyday life, sincerely reflects the difficulties and hopes of our residents, and proposes alternatives for the future of the region.  As a trusted and beloved media outlet among our subscribers, we hope you will continue to be a reliable guide that improves quality of life and spreads hope.  In addition, please cherish the excitement of our founding, our determination, and our original resolve for a long time. When the media steadfastly upholds its fundamental duties of truth, fairness, and accountability, the trust of the citizens of Sido will grow even stronger.  For the development of our region, we ask that you help us establish ourselves as a healthy press that does not hesitate to offer warm encouragement at times and constructive criticism at others.  Once again, congratulations on the vigorous start of NoNews, and I sincerely hope that, together with Yeongcheon City, it will grow and advance, ultimately becoming a leading media outlet that makes a significant contribution to the development of Gyeongsangbuk-do and the Republic of Korea.
